Creating Links & Anchors in Website Tonight 1. Linking Text & Images: After you have inserted an Image or typed a word or phrase that you would like to link - click on the green globe icon on the text editor

Choose what you would like to link to:
• Email - a click will open the default email client on the visitors computer
• URL - outside website or webpage
• Page - a page within your site
• Upload - opens a document such as PDF or image
• Anchor - goes to a specific spot on a page within your site
• No Follow - whether you want to allow search engines to follow the link
• Open in New Window - Link opens in a new window

2. Creating Anchors: Select the location on a page (within a content block) where you would like to create a special anchor by placing your cursor there. Click on the Anchor Chainlink (to the right of the green globe)

Name your Anchor - make it easily identifiable.
Follow the steps for #1 above to link to this anchor.
