Website Tonight: Understanding the Opening Screen

WebSite Tonight® is a robust site builder application and utilized in our Build & Deliver Websites as well as DIY Web Services offered at ThisIsMyDomainUSA. We've created a few tutorial pages to help you through the basics. Give us a call if you have questions - 800•596•6218

Opening Screen in Website Tonight

1. Once you have launched the Website Tonight Editor - you will see a new window with the following screen. Everything pertaining to the look of your website can be handled through the features here.





Tabs and Navigation
1. The tabs at the top left corner will help you manage certain options with you site. Unless you have attached a store or blog to your account - you will not need these tabs. For an indepth tutorial on this section click here.





Site Information
1. The gray box in the bottom left portion of your screen reviews information about your site.
        • You will see the site URL to verify which site you are editing.
        • The date and time the site was last published is also displayed.
        • Your plan includes a limited number of pages. This area displays the number of pages currently used. If you would like to add more pages click on the black 'Add More Features' button.
        • The original base template is also named and pictured. If you are one of our 'Build & Deliver' Website clients - your template has been graphically customized to your business so this image of the template may not resemble what your site actually looks like.
        • In the 'Design' section you can select which page you would like to work on.



Command Corner

4. In the top right corner is your main commands that will be important to finalizing your site.
        • The URL that you are managing is displayed.
        • You may log out of Website Tonight here.
        • If you would like to learn more about New Features and give feedback regarding Website Tonight.
        • The 'Preview' button will allow you to preview the ENTIRE site without publishing it. This is useful when you want to share a preview of changes with other people and try out buttons and functions before you actually publish them to the web. To learn more click here.
        • The 'Publish' button will prepare your website and prompt you to publish it to the internet (making it live). To learn more click here.
        • The 'Help' section is also available.
